We are proud to announce the return to the playing name that combines both our original and historic playing name, Brunswick Juventus FC.
Our story began in 1948.
Our football club was formed, and the colours black and white were chosen, along with the name Juventus, symbolic of “youth” in homage to Juventus of Italy.
Those pioneers that first established the club would not have realised the incredible impact Brunswick Juventus would have on the football community, locally and nationally over 75 years.
We became one of the most successful Victorian clubs of the time, providing many players for the national team and culminating with winning the National Soccer League Championship in 1985.
Whilst our playing name changed over the years for logistical reasons, driven by the recently rescinded FFA National Club Identity Policy, mandate,
that sought to remove all ethnically derived club names, all our identifying accreditations have always remained constant.
Our colours have never changed. Juventus has always remained in our legal association and trading name.
Our registration number has never changed. All the governing authorities' registrations have never changed.
We have never forgotten who we are.
We celebrate all the victories and heartbreaks of the thousands of men, women and youth of all genders, who have played in the black and white,
and those that have contributed sacrificed and supported Brunswick Juventus since 1948.
We remain welcoming to all people loyal to the brand, as we continue our journey today and plan for the football future of tomorrow.
